Rory has 33 years of experience and  started working on heavy trucks and equipment at the age of 16 with his cousin in South Africa,. After his Military Training, he received his Heavy Duty 

Licence in 1988. Rory then spent the next 7 years as a mechanic and a truck driver. He owned a trucking company in South Africa, but then sold it when him and his family moved to Canada in 1995. The Flynn's first moved to British Columbia where Rory started trucking again while completing his equvilancey for Heavy Duty Mechanic. They then moved to Alberta when Rory found work at a mechanics shop in Airdrie. 

Rory has had a mechanic company on the side for many years, he often worked late at night and on weekends to stay committed to his customers. Eventually Rory's expertise and his commitment to his customers spread, and his client list grew. He has been running his own company full time since 2010. Rory and his wife Claire, who left her position to help run the company administratively in 2011, have worked hard to get Rory's Mechanical Services to where it is today. They take pride in their business and enjoy working together to provide excellent service to their customers.

Claire has officially been working for Rory's Mechanical Services since 2011, but has been helping with the administrative side since opening day. She is often in the office writing up invoices and submitting documents. Claire is also our parts runner, and her commitment to the company and organization keeps everything moving smoothly.
